Our Story

Hello... Beth here! The founder and sole owner of Dahlia & Dove. With a lifelong passion for creating aesthetically pleasing spaces, I’ve always found joy in the details that make a room feel both beautiful and welcoming. As a teacher from Melbourne, I understand the importance of comfort and harmony, especially at home.

I absolutely love hosting and finding new ways to add a special touch to memories with friends and family. I often found it hard to source premium quality items, that I could re-use and keep forever.

The idea for my business blossomed when I was searching for realistic artificial flowers to decorate my home. I’m a low-maintenance girl at heart, and as much as I adore fresh blooms, I could never seem to keep them alive for more than a few days. Plus, constantly replacing them just wasn’t in the budget.

After searching high and low for realistic faux flowers and finding nothing that met my standards, I decided to create my own.

At Dahlia & Dove, we offer REAL preserved flowers, alongside premium quality artificial florals. I’ve spent countless months sourcing, sampling, and perfecting every detail, because I refuse to settle for anything less than beautiful and lifelike.

Our florals bring lasting elegance to any space and can be reused time and again, whether you’re styling your home, your workplace, or a special event.

One of my biggest passions is travelling the world, and it has been a constant source of inspiration for me. Each place I’ve visited has influenced my eye for design and appreciation for beauty in all its forms. A country that holds a special place in my heart is Cambodia. I volunteered at a school, and worked alongside some of the most kind-hearted, selfless people I have ever met. It was both shocking and heart wrenching to see how some parts of the world are living.

New Dreams of Cambodian Children Organization is a school run by an amazing Cambodian man named Kim. He takes in the poorest children of Cambodia, feeds them and teaches them English. This man is a massive inspiration to me, and he has the biggest heart I have ever known.

Every sale that I make from my business, $1 will be donated to NDCC, to feed and teach children in need.
